Melissa Malamed, DPM

Dr. Melissa Malamed is a dedicated podiatrist with 26 years of experience, specializing in sports medicine and extracorporeal shock wave therapy.

She practices at Highpoint Foot and Ankle Center, with offices in Chalfont, Doylestown, and Hatboro, PA. Dr. Malamed completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Pittsburgh before earning her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in 1997.

She finished her residency at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in 2000. Board-certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine, she is a Fellow of the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and actively serves on the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine Alumni Board.

Dr. Malamed's commitment to the field is reflected in her professional memberships and years of experience providing personalized, high-quality care to her patients. She is also affiliated with Doylestown Hospital, where she not only provides expert care but also volunteers at the Ann Silverman Clinic.

Daniel Cohen, DPM

Dr. Daniel Cohen, a graduate of the Temple School of podiatric medicine, has been practicing over 25 years in Bucks and Montgomery counties. He is a partner at Highpoint Foot and Ankle Center with offices in Chalfont, Doylestown and Hatboro. Dr. Cohen earned his Bachelors of Science degree from Ohio University, followed by his Doctorate degree from Temple School of podiatric medicine in 1997, of which he was in the honor society. From there he did a 1 year surgical preceptorship, followed by 2 year surgical residency at the Washington Hospital Center in Washington D.C.

He is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and has been recently recertified in 2023. Dr. Cohen believes in explaining all treatment options thoroughly to patients and listening to his patients prior to any treatment. Conservative care is of utmost importance, but he has expertise in surgery as well. He has special interest in forefoot surgery, ranging from bunions and hammertoes, to heel spurs and other orthopedic conditions. He enjoys diabetic limb salvage procedures and wound care. Dr. Cohen is on staff at Bucks County Surgical Suites and Doylestown Hospital, where he is the head of the podiatry department.
